In today’s world, relationships are increasingly replaced by transactions, and goodwill by efficiency. But what makes a person human in the age of self-presentation and digital isolation? How does goodwill place human interactions in a space of trust and meaning? And can we reclaim the art of conversation—not for the sake of persuasion, but for the sake of mutual understanding? Hakan Altinay, President of the World Academy for Citizenship and a former political prisoner in Turkey, discusses these questions at the School’s seminar in Warsaw.
