In honour of its twentieth anniversary, the School’s founders, together with its regular experts, are trying to show how knowledge about the past helps us understand the present, and why Russia is now in the state it is in. And also, summarising twenty years of discussion on this topic, they’re offering citizens their own version of the answer to the question ‘what to do’. Although the book consists of individual letters, each with a different author, it is a coherent and cohesive work, so we recommend reading it all in a row for a better understanding.
