The establishment of a UN Parliamentary Assembly as a first step towards a world parliament is a major goal of Democracy Without Borders.
This study examines a draft of the Assembly and proposes formal recommendations for its establishment. The authors of the project are concerned about the global problems humanity faces, for which no solutions is found in the conditions of the international system built on the permanent confrontation of independent nation-states.
