Anatoly Akhutin’s book «War and Intelligence» is a philosophical diary of the first months of Russia’s open military invasion of Ukraine, the purpose of which is to turn the state of war into the norm of everyday life. This is a war of chaos with space, threatening to destroy the world.

The author refuses to be «outside of politics» while Ukraine defends itself in an existential war with the invasion of political nihilism. Based on Bakhtin’s concept of participatory thinking, he asserts: the intellect is responsible for man as the culprit and accomplice of historical events. The plot of the book is thinking (intellect) as responsibility.
