Worked as Editor-in-Chief of the Culture section at the New Times magazine as well as Head of the Special Projects Department and Public Relations Service at the Culture TV channel. In 2019 Solomonov wrote the play -«How we buried Josef Stalin», a tragic farce that takes place in a famous Russian theater where the director is working on a play about Stalin’s death. The play then becomes its opposite — a play about Stalin’s birth — for political reasons and due to the presence of the Russian president, who makes corrections, which the Theatre Director must accept. The play has been translated into 8 languages and staged several times in Russia, Georgia, Israel, USA and Montenegro.
