D. and Ph.D. theses were defended at the Faculty of Philosophy of St. Petersburg University. He studied at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Strasbourg, where he defended his PhD thesis in 1995. Research interests: history of philosophy, philosophy of language, phenomenology. During his work at the Free University he has taught the following courses: Metaphysical Foundations of Classical Rationality, Genealogy of the Subject, Phenomenology of the Event.
