Scott has more than 24 years of experience working in a range of countries throughout the world, including work in the United States; Central, Eastern and Western Europe; the Middle East; Russian Federation; Central Asia; East Asia; South Asia; Southeast Asia; Pacific Islands; Caribbean; and Eastern, Western and Southern Africa. Scott has been working against the current Russian leadership for many years in Russia, Belarus, Georgia, Tajikistan and Ukraine. Active in Ukraine since 2015, his efforts have been recognised by the Ukrainian Government through his cabinet-level appointment to the International Humanitarian Law Commission for the Government of Ukraine. Further, he has provided advisory services to the State Security Services, Prosecutor General’s Office, Ukrainian Armed Forces, military police of Ukraine, Ministry of Justice, the Verkhovna Rada and others to prevent, identify, investigate and prosecute international crimes. He has also provided many years of assistance to the Kremlin’s political prisoners.
