Challenges in Society: Thinking about our Common Future

For many years the School organised this seminar around the broad question ‘What makes society work?’ and the focus has been on different aspects and understandings of institutions. This year we broadened the scope even further. Understanding institutions remained an important part but it more explicitly dealt with questions relating to climate change, democracy and media, gender issues, and the impact of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
